Insomnia - Sleep

We all need a good night’s sleep it’s essential for us as sleep enables us to maintain our positive mental wellbeing. The consequences of a lack of sleep, broken sleep, waking in the middle of the night or waking too early can be debilitating causing us many other issues in other areas of our life. Hypnotherapy can help you get to sleep easier, help you sleep better and the benefits of this are wonderful.

A good night’s sleep is essential, enabling us to see things from a positive perspective again. Reducing irritability and fatigue it can even help with our weight management, allowing positive changes to happen whilst regaining our motivation and zest for life.

Confidence

Do you lack confidence? Lack of confidence and low self-esteem is more common than you think. It can also have a detrimental effect on both your personal and your professional life, preventing you from trying new things or grasping opportunities.

Hypnotherapy can make a real difference and give you that confidence back. Hypnosis works by getting the client to plan a preferred future then whilst in trance the subconscious mind cements these thoughts, thus allowing them to feel more motivated and able to make the positive changes they’ve planned, ultimately resulting in them having a bright confident future.

Weight Management

Hypnotherapy can help people who suffer with chronic pain. Hypnosis helps to change the way you perceive the pain message resulting in the intensity of the pain been significantly reduced. This can be lifechanging for people suffering from pain on a daily basis.

Nonspecific phobias

Nonspecific phobias are where a fear response has encroached on a person’s life resulting in them suffering from agoraphobia or an emetophobia these phobias may require 8-12 sessions.

Hypnotherapy helps you relax not only whilst in the session but when you need to.

At times our lives can be pretty hectic we often forget to take care of and look after ourselves, to the detriment of our health and wellbeing. Hypnotherapy is one of the easiest ways to ‘empty our stress bucket’ and reach a deep state of relaxation.

Hypnotherapy enables stress levels to be lowered allowing you to rediscover a feeling of calm control. Relaxation is so important and helps us to maintain a well balance lifestyle. The benefits of hypnosis are endless and by practicing relaxation regularly you will soon experience these benefits.

I want my clients to be able to stay calm and relaxed in any situation allowing them to function effectively. In the Initial Consultation my clients will be given a ‘FREE’ link to my relaxation track which will help to aid a restful night’s sleep. This track can be used in between sessions encouraging relaxation and reducing anxiety whenever needed.

IBS

Hypnotherapy helps to relieve the symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). It is a common and uncomfortable disorder. IBS affects many people, around twice as many women are affected as men. People who suffer from IBS suffer with painful and often embarrassing symptoms.

Hypnotherapy can be used to overcome these problems giving people who suffer from IBS the freedom to feel comfortable again in all situations. Hypnotherapy is a safe and powerful way of making people feel less anxious therefore reducing the symptoms associated with this condition.

Depression

Many people suffer from depression it affects millions of people from all over the world. Depression is a very personal experience and people display differing symptoms, when symptoms are left unresolved, they can destroy people’s lives.

Depression is often described by people who suffer as numbness, you lose focus and concentration as it saps your energy leaving you unable to feel anything. Nothing matters anymore even the people you love become unimportant.

Not only does depression affect your mental state as it takes its toll on your emotions it can cause numerous physical problems. Depression can cause issues with sleep routine and appetite causing a lack of energy and motivation.

Hypnotherapy helps people with depression by allowing the mind to relax giving us access to the subconscious mind. Pre-hypnosis we would encourage a client to discuss their preferred future and then whilst in a hypnotic state place this appropriately, allowing the subconscious mind to take it on board immediately setting to work to enable these positive changes to happen. The mind sees change both good or bad as threat, therefore when done through the subconscious there’s less resistance allowing positive change to happen.

Reduce Anxiety and Stress

Anxiety and Stress is a natural response which everyone feels from time to time. A small amount of stress in your life is completely normal and necessary it’s what gets us out of bed in the morning.

Not everyone experiences anxiety in the same way or to the same levels. People suffering from anxiety often rerun scary or upsetting situations or events over and over in their head resulting in their imagination making the situation even worse, causing them to suffer from further anxiety.

Perhaps you need some help to overcome them overwhelming feelings of anxiety associated with that exam, driving test or presentation, if so, hypnotherapy allows you to take back control, meaning you can live life to the full again, free from anxiety and unnecessary stress.

A stop smoking session takes 2 hours it’s proven to work for people who are motivated into wanting to quit.

Children with Anxiety

Hypnotherapy can help children and adolescents. Growing up in today society can be tough this coupled with the added pressure of exams social media etc. can often cause anxiety in childhood. Anxiety is a normal part of childhood and small episodes of anxiety can be managed with the help and support of their parents however sometimes anxiety can cause real issues. Children who suffer from anxiety disorder may feel fearful nervous and shy preventing them from doing activities which they enjoy they may also develop behavioral problems all of which can be overcome through hypnosis.

Children can be seen for hypnotherapy over the age of 8. All children or teenagers below the age of 17 must be seen in the first instance with a parent or guardian who will be required to sign consent for any ongoing treatment.
