What to Expect
I understand that for some people it is a really big step to talk to someone new about personal thoughts and feelings; here is some more information to help you understand what you can expect during your initial consultation and following sessions.
What happens at the Initial Consultation?
During the initial consultation I will send you a link to my relaxation track. This track will help to relax you, encouraging sleep and promoting better sleeping patterns.
Clients seeking help through hypnotherapy quite often try out other alternatives first, they can come with a range of different problems however almost all of them will mention they also have issues with sleep. Often clients mention that getting to sleep is problematic, waking in the night or waking too early, all of which can leave you feeling exhausted and irritable. After the first few sessions of hypnotherapy almost all of my clients have seen positive improvements within their sleeping patterns.
What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis (Trance) is a very deep form of relaxation; you are aware of everything that’s happening and remain in complete control. Trance is a very natural state which we go into many times throughout the day, trance happens when the two minds come together and focus on the same thing; whilst in this trance like state we then have access to the subconscious mind. Enabling positive suggestion (delivered in a therapeutic manner) to be accepted which will enable you to achieve change and overcome any problems or difficulties which you may have.
Hypnosis, (Trance) is perfectly safe, you will remain in control throughout and you will be able to come out of it whenever you choose. SFH involves the use of positive suggestion and metaphors which allow us to access the logical, intellectual mind resulting in positive change. This is very different to ‘stage hypnosis’, which is for entertainment purposes only, you won’t be clucking like a chicken, hopping around on one leg or eating onions!
Hypnosis is a very personal experience often described as feeling very relaxed and calm. My first experience of hypnosis was wonderful and left me feeling amazed by the whole experience. Clients I have worked with have had similar experiences, they are aware of their surroundings just not wanting to move. Ultimately for most people it’s a very pleasant and enjoyable experience, half an hour of ‘me time’ – what’s not to like!?
Do you do online therapy?
A safe alternative to face to face which has become more popular over the last 18 months.

Zoom and other online communication tools has offered a safe yet effective way of achieving this.
All you require to access online hypnotherapy is a webcam, Tablet or smart phone, internet connection and a relaxing space without any obvious distractions. Access to hypnotherapy has never been more flexible, It’s easy!
Clients often comment that they feel more relaxed and comfortable from the comfort of their own home. Other benefits are no travel time which allows busy clients to fit a session into your their schedule – plus there’s no additional travel cost!

- Subsequent 55 minute Sessions – £60
- Stopping Smoking – Vaping One 2 hour Session – £150
- Specific Phobias require Four 55mins sessions – £60 per Session
